Martin Schwemmer is Managing Director of Bundesvereinigung Logistik e. V. (BVL), where he is responsible for innovation, marketing and the further training and education activities of BVL. Up to the start of 2022, he was Senior Consultant at the Fraunhofer Working Group for Supply Chain Services SCS, where from 2011 onwards he authored the study series “The Top 100 in Logistics” – which has become a standard work for the description and analysis of the logistics sector. He has been researching start-ups in logistics for several years and wrote his PhD thesis on the success of these new logistics companies. He is a member of the German “Logistics Expert Summit” and serves on the jury for the “Logistics Hall of Fame”.

Michal Musielak, M.Sc. from Poznan University of Technology, graduated with a degree in "Transport and Working Machines", as well as postgraduate studies: "Modern Enterprise Management" and "Modern Production and Logistics" in Poznań. He obtained the "European Logistics Certificate - Senior Level" with honors. He has many years of experience in management. Since 2004, he has been involved in contract logistics for the automotive industry. From 2010 to 2019, he served as manager of the Polkowice Branch (logistics service for a diesel engine manufacturer). He was responsible for managing the branch in the following areas: logistics, customer service, quality, finance, HR and administration. Previously, he worked for the company in the Poznań branch (logistics service of a commercial vehicle manufacturer). From 01.04.2019 employed at Seifert Automotive Poland as Logistics Director in Jawor, where from the very beginning (greenfield), he created and expanded the company's branch, which now employs more than 500 people. Privately: married, father of two sons. He enjoys active recreation - he is an amateur cyclist.

Katarzyna Byczkowska graduated from the Wrocław University of Technology and completed her MBA at the University of Calgary. She worked for Dow Chemical for 10 years in various positions in Warsaw and London, and began her career at BASF in 2005 as Sales Manager for Northern Europe, UK. Subsequently, she held commercial positions in Ludwigshafen, Germany (2006-2007) and in Warsaw, Poland, where she took on the position of Commercial Director EUC and Russia (2008-2012). From 2013 to 2017, she was seconded to Barcelona, where she served as Vice President, Sales & Regional Market Development Iberia. She spent the years 2017-18 in Vienna as Head of Controlling and Projects for Central Europe. Upon her return to Poland in May 2018, Katarzyna Byczkowska assumed the position of Managing Director of BASF Poland, a company that is among the largest domestic subsidiaries of the BASF Group in Europe. Currently, BASF Poland has more than 750 employees and more than €1 billion 500 million in turnover (2022).

Krystian Zurek has been with VELUX's Namyslow skylight and flashing factory for 15 years. He began his work with VELUX by implementing the Lean Manufacturing methodology in Namyslow, then created the technical and engineering department and managed production. He currently works as General Manager of the Namyslow plant.
Mr. Zurek has nearly 20 years of experience in manufacturing and technology. Before joining VELUX, he worked in the areas of product development and technical support at Danfoss and Wibrem. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Wroclaw University of Technology and has also completed postgraduate MBA studies at Franklin University.

A proactive and innovative entrepreneur, an architect who creates healthy organizations filled with motivated and committed employees, with a preference for teamwork, he has been involved in the logistics industry since 1994. For the first 13 years, he co-founded the logistics services market at Spedpol, the largest company in the market at the time, which later merged and transformed into the now widely known DB Schenker.
In 2007, he took over as CEO of the Polish organization of the German logistics operator DACHSER SE, a major global player. Under his leadership over the next 14 years, Dachser, from an organization just entering our market and virtually unknown, became one of the best and most recognizable companies operating in the market. The strategic and organizational solutions introduced in Poland by Grzegorz Lichocik were recognized as a reference for other organizations in the group and contributed to strengthening the company's position in Europe.
After leaving Dachser at the beginning of 2022, Grzegorz Lichocik focused on consulting work in the area of building development strategies and increasing efficiency in supply chains and logistics. Together with Prof. Wojciech Paprocki (SGH) and Piotr Szreter (DGC), he conducts research and analysis of the TSL market in Poland and CEE.
